Accounting Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team to manage various accounting activities, processes, and controls.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and internal controls, as well as month end close process (including a review of journal entries, reconciliation, review of balance sheet accounts and creation of a monthly internal financial package).
  • Participate in ongoing development of accounting policies and procedures, including review and implementation of process and system changes.
  • Manage and execute the payroll processing and associated functions.
  • Assist with various audits, including year-end (preparation and review of audit and tax provision schedules), the preparation of tax return schedules for submission to outside tax advisor, and the preparation of the Company’s annual report.
  • Collaborate with the CFO on the budget and forecast of the balance sheet and cash flow projections.
  • Manage inventory costing processes and assist with internal controls over this area.
  • Lead special projects to understand existing internal controls and associated standard operating procedures. Identify opportunities for improvement and implementation of control changes or enhancements.
  • Interact with engineering and manufacturing personnel and gain exposure to innovative technologies.

What You will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 5-6 years of accounting experience, with manufacturing company experience preferred.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).  NetSuite experience preferred.

Fiber Optic Technicians

Summary Description:

Fiber Optic and electro-mechanical assembly work based in a Woburn, MA company.  Work with a highly skilled team to assemble Fiber Optic Pressure Sensors and Optical Benches.  Team members will work with both electro-mechanical and fiber optic components.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Detail oriented with experience in precise alignment of optical components.

2) Expertise working with Fiber Optics

  • Handling Fiber
  • Removing fiber sheathing using chemicals
  • Connector/Ferrule attach using epoxy
  • Connector/Ferrule polishing and inspection
  • Cleaning of optical components

 Required Skills:

1) Great hand-eye coordination and dexterity skills for working with very small components under a microscope.

2) Proficient with soldering od small components and small wire assemblies.

3) Proficient with accurate data collection/entry using electronic travelers.

4) Familiarity with using Optical Power Meters, Power Supplies, and Oscilloscopes to verify optical alignment is a plus.

MEMS Equipment Engineer

Sensera is looking for an Equipment Engineer to help maintain their existing equipment set as well as support the continued build out of the wafer fab and assembly areas. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • This individual will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of semiconductor/MEMS and assembly process and metrology equipment.
  • Support the Etch area including DRIE. Provide additional support for photolithography and metal deposition areas.
  • Repair semiconductor process equipment in clean laboratory environment.
  • Setup and installation of equipment.
  • Initial testing and diagnostic checks of equipment.
  • Performing electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems.
  • Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment.
  • Perform equipment set-up changes, modifications, and upgrades\

Required Skills:

  • Extensive semiconductor or MEMS equipment experience.
  • Ability and willingness to work in a cleanroom environment.
  • Experience creating and following preventative maintenance schedules and maintaining log books.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated.
  • Meticulous and quality focused.
  • Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with DRIE equipment, preferably STS/SPTS systems.
  • Experience with photolithography equipment including SVG tracks, EVG aligners/bonders, and steppers is a plus.
  • 5+ years semiconductor line maintenance or service experience is required.
  • Computer literacy and experience with MS Office products required.

Permanent legal resident status is required.
